The Start Today Program

Start Today is a new program for adult patients taking PRISTIQ (desvenlafaxine) Extended-Release Tablets to treat depression.

With this program, Wyeth will pay 50% of the co-pay (or out-of-pocket cost) of your PRISTIQ prescription at your pharmacy when you use your Start Today card — and will continue to do so for the full course of your therapy as prescribed by your health care professional. This program is available to patients with or without prescription drug coverage. See Eligibility/Terms & Conditions below.*

It's all part of our broader commitment to provide you and your health care professional with a strong foundation of support to help manage depression.

The Start Today program also offers education and information about depression and the opportunity to enroll in a free patient support program, A New Day. Because when it comes to serious and often debilitating illnesses like depression, medication is just one part of the equation.

Enrollment materials are available from your health care professional, who can obtain them from Wyeth. To learn more about Start Today, talk to your health care professional.

PRISTIQ Important Safety Information

PRISTIQ® (desvenlafaxine) is approved for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.

Suicidality and Antidepressant Drugs

Antidepressants increased the risk compared to placebo of suicidal thinking and behavior (suicidality) in children, teens, and young adults. Depression and certain other psychiatric disorders are themselves associated with increases in the risk of suicide. Patients of all ages who are started on antidepressant therapy should be monitored appropriately and observed closely for clinical worsening, suicidality, or unusual changes in behavior. PRISTIQ is not approved for use in children under 18.
